Sometimes a project comes along that’s rooted in a deceptively simple idea, and it demands a song just as simple to match. So what does it sound like when a dog falls in love with a bag of dog food? In other words, what does puppy love sound like? The only answer was to lean all the way into the clichés, with a healthy dose of classic 1960s doo-wop.
